At Charpaw, we believe that the best moments with our pets are built on comfort and trust. To make sure you and your furry friend get exactly what you need, we personally handpick each item from specialized makers around the world.<br/><br/>Because we care more about how a product works than a big brand name, you might notice different design touches across our collections. But here’s our promise: every single item has been tested by us to meet the "Charpaw Comfort Standard." We’re here to bring you products that we truly love and trust for our own pets.
Everything We Sell Gets Tested at Home First
Charpaw started with our own crew — three cats and two dogs — and one very specific problem: too many pet products are designed for a shelf, not for real life.
Our dog Cookie is a good example. She rides in the car with us constantly, and her favorite thing in the world is sticking her head out the window and catching the wind. It sounds simple, but it's actually taught us a lot about what pet gear actually needs to hold up to — motion, wind, drool, a dog who does not sit still. A lot of our product picks trace back to moments like that: watching how our own pets actually live, then going looking for something better than what we could find on the shelf.
So we started sourcing directly from manufacturers — the same factories and workshops that supply many pet brands you already know — instead of buying through a chain of importers and retailers who never touch the product themselves. Everything gets tried on our own pets before it's listed. Cookie and our three cats are our first (and toughest) product reviewers.
If it doesn't hold up at home, it doesn't make it to the shop.

Meet the Team
Cookie — Dog, Head of Field Testing
Cookie's job is riding in the car with her head out the window, catching the wind, and generally deciding whether new gear can survive real life. If it holds up on a Cookie road trip, it's good to go.
Yuanbao — the office's unofficial supervisor (and part-time chef). A blue-mixed British Shorthair boy who technically belongs to the boss, but has appointed himself head of quality control anyway. Mostly supervises from a comfortable distance. Very serious about his job. Mostly naps — except when he's sneaking into the kitchen, which is often enough that he tends to smell faintly like whatever's cooking. (Fun fact: "Yuanbao" is the Chinese word for a gold ingot — a traditional symbol of good fortune. Fitting, for a cat who acts like he owns the place.)
Niannian — our resident gentle giant. A Ragdoll boy with an oddly specific obsession: packaging. Give him a box or a bag and he'll try to make it his personal chew toy — which mostly means we're on constant duty keeping him away from anything mid-review. Sweet, easygoing, zero complaints filed (mainly because he can't talk). ("Niannian" comes from a Chinese New Year phrase wishing prosperity year after year — a fitting name for a cat who treats every package like a gift.)
Baobao — looks unbothered, isn't. A golden chinchilla girl who has the resting face of someone judging your life choices, and the actual personality of a very affectionate, slightly goofy velcro cat. Don't let the look fool you. ("Baobao" playfully means "always full" or "well-fed" in Chinese — a nod to a life of comfort and abundance. She'd approve of that description.)
